Google, which wants to compete in big ways is looking for Dark Fiber and a person to lead it according to Roland. Given their market cap and the problems over at Level3, it would make sense for Google to take a serious look at Level3 and get some of the many miles of dark fiber Level3 has. That and a very good network, a well built NOC and more.
