While I likely won’t blog each and every deal that comes down the pipe, based on the flurry of announcements reaching my in box this morning it clearly looks like the enterprise sales of VoIP and VoIP related hardware and services is starting to snowball.
Just do a Google News search and you will see that everyone in the space from the switch and platform companies to the carriers are making announcements about new VoIP deployments.
I fully expect more news from the Cable MSO’s and the USA Federal Government to come down the line in the not to distant future clearly showing that VoIP is more than just a way for less expensive calling.
Banks, hospitals and distributed retailers all are making major efforts to deploy VoIP in order enhance their customer experiences and to fatten their bottom lines. We have clearly not seen all, or even close to the surface of what lays ahead.
