Updated – DeltaThree Announces Broadband Phone Plans

DeltaThree, one of the longer established VoIP players now has new plans that involve a telephone adapter under their iConnectHere brand.

To me the plan looks like plans from Vonage and a few others price wise.

As a reader has pointed out, it does look a lot like VoiceWing from Verizon. It should. DeltaThree is providing part of the platform to Verizon…but there are some significant differences, and that’s the idea of global. Delta Three wants customers from around the globe, and actually has numbers available in other countries. That means local numbers that are portable. They are also exporting their telephone adapters or selling open access. Those make for great holiday presents for friends far, far away..

Since they also already have a softphone and bundle the account with calling card with global access they seem to be offering a great package.

In the past I’ve said global carriers are coming. This is an example on just that.

Be aware my past efforts with their support team have been challenging to the least. If that problem has been solved then Delta Three may be worth watching.
