Evening Land Beaujolais Village 2008

Well my friend Mark Williamson of Willi’s Wine Bar has an interest in Evening Land, which has Dominque Lafon and Sashi Moorman as winemakers. The 2008 Beaujolais Village is a stunning, but easy drinking red, that is full of cherries and raspberries. Low enough in alcohol that you can enjoy two glasses, or just sit back and sip the afternoon away, this is a drinking persons fall weather quaffer that has the stuffing to even stand up to a spicy pasta sauce, sausages or even a rich beef stew.
