Why I’m Posting Slowly Today

If you’re wondering why I’m posting rather slowly today, all you have to do is check out the two posts from WinePals Christine Herron and Oren Michels. All I can say, is I’m both flattered by their comments and agree with each and every word written.

Grand Central Unveiled

Om was working when I was sleeping, so he beat me to the posting about pals Craig Walker and Vincent Paquet’s new venture, Grand Central Communications on Monday. On Sunday around 11 AM Vincent and Craig gave me access to what I had seen back at VON under the cloak of darkness in a deserted … Read more

Fixed Mobile Plays Coming From Mobile Carriers

It looks like fixed mobile convergence, or at least dual mode services that combine mobile phone and in home service are coming. Orange in the UK and T-Mobile in the USA are both unveiling this year on both sides of the Atlantic according to published reports. I’ve often felt that if any group could rival … Read more

Ted Rips Mac Beta

While Brad Garlinghouse and Jeff Bonforte are both people I consider pals in the VoIP space, it seems Yahoo just can’t get their act together with a Mac client. And it’s not me whose barking this time, but someone who they really need to listen to. Ted Wallingford. Ted is more than just a VoIP … Read more

Jangl, GrandCentral Coming To A Phone Soon

I’m playing around with Jangl beta and while the audience they’re going after isn’t me, I suspect the big market for this will be the 18-30’s disposable income and disposable friends set. Om and I had a talk about it last night and he sees lots of women liking it. Since we’re both good friends … Read more
