Stanaphone, TeleSym on Pocket PC

I’ve been a tough critic of Stanaphone, largely for their lack of response to questions about their platform and capabilities, but the GeekZone’s review of their PocketPC capabilities has me wanting to learn more.

If they are indeed pulling off a PocketPC client that has great audio fidelity, then users of the service may have an always on environment created.

This is not much different from what TeleSym is seeking to do.

Backed by Intel, Telesym, which showed their wares at DemoMobile almost two years ago, has built a thin client designed to work on lightweight endpoints like PDA’s. Designed for communication heavy environments like hospitals, Telesym is starting to show their roadmap with their Internap announement.
