Covad which likes to educate via the white paper route has made their views public on the subject of regulation of VoIP.
What they are really doing though is called lead generation in marketing speak. Get people to download in exchange for a “consultation” on how VoIP can be better for the customer. The marketer in me likes the idea. The journalist side of me says tell a good story and we’ll talk about Covad better.
On the tacky scale this gets a “C” from me, as I would like to read the white paper, but know I don’t live within range of quality DSL service.
