I’ve been on the road and will be for another week. I’ve been in Shearton’s and Homestead Hotel Suites so far and have to be impressed with the connectivity. Using my SMC Travel Router makes the W, Sheraton and Westin TurboNet like working at home.
When your traveling look for those brands of hotels. They rock and VoIP and Skype over my laptop is a cinch. Great voice quality. Solid bandwidth
Hey Andy! I enjoy reading your blog and figured I would reply to this one. I run The HotSpot Haven, http://www.hotspothaven.com , and I’ve been spending most of my time cleaning the ‘next phase’ of data to be included in my global wi-fi hotspot directory.
Our new site, which we have been working on for 3 months now, will launch very soon with our newest data. I hope to have close to 40,000 listings, and almost double the # of FREE hotspots listed.
The new site will have most content and editorials removed, as we focus all of our efforts on the search engine technology and the quality of data we publish.
Our downloadable hotspot directory, SpotShadow, for finding hotspots offline will be upgraded as well for easily finding wireless hotspots. Here is the link for this free tool:
