Dameon @ Voxilla.com has a review of their predictions from a year ago and some new ones for 2005.
There is no question that 2005 will be a big year for VoIP, but I really think the advances will be in applications/services and higher QoS.
Also, 911 will become less of a media issue as the press realizes how few calls people ever make to 911 who are affluent enough to afford broadband and are early adopters. While I agree this is an issue, there are enough ways to solve the problem that will be brought to light rather soon.
