Stuart Henshall, grand wizard of SkypeJournal has ripped the Skype team for their lousy eco-system.
When you think what eBay has done with the cottage industry that has sprung up, what Sun has done with Java, Oracle with their Oracle programmers and consultants, or what Apple has done around iTunes with third party add-ons, one can see the right approach being applied.
Sadly, Skype are neither Telephone types nor Third Party Developer oriented. Everything Skype does is designed to HYPE SKYPE. Nothing more.
I think Stuart is starting to see that too.
