Another Peer 2 Peer company has hit the voice/telephone replacement market. Called PeerMe, they have raised 2.5 million or so and seem to be offering a Skype like platform.
I remember back in the 90’s when there were a lot of Instant Messaging platforms out there, yet only three or four really survived: AOL’s AIM, ICQ, MSN and Yahoo. While others are out there, there are some internal, corporate editions or enterprise offerings. Now there is Skype which added voice better than the rest did first.
I suspect history will repeat itself once again.
