The VON Coalition more than probably any other group had to play a big part in having the U.S. Senate take the action they did yesterday slowing down the FCC’s force implementation of E911. Hats off to that group for being such a force in the USA.

For the companies that already have complied all it means is they’re ready. For those that haven’t gotten there yet, it means those that can and have the ability to handle E911 now have a marketing differentiator.
I guess someone will get around to calling those with E911 capability the “haves” and those without it the “have nots.”
