Blogging is an international happening. VON and VoIP is international too. At our first blogger panel we had James Seng from Singapore on the panel. So this time around in San Jose I wanted a different perspective on the panel, one from someone deeply vested in the IETF, eNUM and not from North America. So Richard Stastny, from Austria, was selected.
Those who know Richard will be well aware that he’s not shy. Opinions, backed up by informed facts and knowledge enable him to present an viewpoints about things that others, especially the less well informed might miss.
When I look at panels and how they are formed at other, non-Pulver conferences here in the USA, I tend to see either Asian, UK or USA types dot the panels. Commendations to Jeff and his aide de camp, Carl Ford, for always having the Europeans as part of the USA shows. The have consistently included them for as long as I can remember, even before they started events in Europe or the UK.
