Skype 2.5 Out Wednesday

A new and improved Skype 2.5 is due out by late afternoon U.K. time with the big feature being a true 100 person conference calling capability with moderation features called Skypecast.

Some impressive tie ins like with companies like SixApart, makers of TypePad having been lined up.

This is a continuation of the evolution we are seeing with Skype becoming more than just a one to one communications platform as they are entering the one to many field and that means community. As I keep expressing, Skype is a pipe and their moves keep going in that direction.
