AOL To Add PhoneLine To Messenger

In a very expected move, AOL has added a phone line to its very popular AIM Messenger as part of their Triton project.

Tabbed as AIM PhoneLine (what a great name) , now you’ll be able to punch out the digits and talk, going well beyond just tapping away at the keys with Messenger. This squarely puts AIM on the same plane as Yahoo Messenger and places AOL in the wars with Gizmo and Skype too as they are adding In and Out calling.
