While I don’t know if you can use Skype or any VoIP services over this, but if you can this new High Speed Data card from T-Mobile in the UK is offering the kind of speeds that can make most people want to cut the cord on their DSL or cable modem connections.
With a two gig per month allotment of data, free T-Mobile Hotspot use for a year, and the card for free, twenty pounds sterling in the UK (about $37.50) a month in the USA is a great deal.
With 80 percent of the UK ready for this, no mobile working Brit should be without it. And that’s what T-Mobile is likely counting on.
UPDATE: Richard confirmed my fear that the use of Skype and VoIP services won’t be tolerated.
Why worry about an expensive data card service from T-Mobile (or others) when you can access Skype calling, Skype voicemail and Skype Chat messages from your mobile using the standard voice service using WiSPA (www.wispa.it).
