The NSP Strategist thinks assisted living facilities are prime candidates for video conferencing. I tend to agree, but with a caveat.
Recently I looked at some for my mother, who at 86 years young, is still able to do things on her own. My disappointment with all of them was their total lack of Internet access. No high speed DSL in the rooms. Limited cable tv.
As grandparents want more access to their connected grandchildren Internet access in these facilities will be key…
