In my view until easy to use production tools are integrated into web cam, video conferencing and video blogging sites, apps and tools, we will see two types of videos.
A. The talking head
B. The offline edited video
What is needed are online tools that takes the best of things like SightSpeed to capture, has Avid like tools in the middle for production and mixes it with a HIPCAST like posting and playing interface to finish things off by making posting and distributing very easy.
When that exists, and when I say that, I mean for Macs, PCs and mobile devices, then we will see video really launch.
