Sylantro Has A New CEO

Let me pre-text this one. For years I’ve always thought that Sylantro was a company with great technology that couldn’t decide if it was an Applications Server or Softswitch company.

Well maybe a new CEO will help. I just learned that tomorrow Sylantro Systems will announce the appointment of Marco Limena to president and CEO. He joins Sylantro following more than 14 years at Hewlett Packard, most recently serving as vice president of HP’s Network and Service Provider business.

I mean, with a person coming over from H-P to run the company, nothing could be expected to be kept secret in a board room, right?
