Gotta Love Great FREE HOTEL WiFi and Broadband

I’m at VON this week and the two hotel’s on either side, the Hilton and the Marriott both have been full for sometime, not that it matters, as I’m where I’ve been the last two out three visits to San Jose including VONs. The Fairmont, which for the same price is a major step up from both.

At the Hilton two years back the bandwidth was so overloaded that it hurt. The Marriott wasn’t that better, but I’m over at the Fairmont where the lobby bandwidth is FREE WiFi and the in-room broadband is free to me as I’m part of the Fairmont President’s Club.

What’s amazing is the quality of the lobby bandwidth…good enough for VoIP Calls (at least on Sunday)..it’s so good I know Rich Tehrani will wish he was staying here.
