Audiophile’s Dream-The Nokia MD-4 Mini Speakers

I’ve become very much a fan of my Nokia N800 Internet Tablet over the past few weeks while I’ve been traveling. Using it for GoogleTalk, portable video communications, GizmoProject and as my audio player as well as back up email appliance, it has really become a steady part of my road warrior arsenal, filling the niche in what I call Casual Computing.

That’s why I was overjoyed to find the Nokia MD-4 Mini Speakers when I flew out of London’s Heathrow Airport yesterday in the Dixon’s store once you pass security.

These mini speakers fill the room with sound and despite their tiny size they are power-packed. What’s more they work with more than just the N800 and make any hotel room sound perfectly. I’ve yet to try them with VoIP but that will likely happen soon.

For the person on the go these are the ideal audio compliment, and my suspicion is the extra audio plug will also make it perfect for iPod totters too!

  1. These look great. I’ve been thinking about speakers for all the Nokia phones I have and, from the reviews, it seems the speakers will work with iPods and just about any music device.
I found them on Mobile Planet for $60. If you bought them in The Land of the $2 Pound, you probably paid lot more!
