I have never been a fan of “free” as a long term business model. While the idea of no cost to talk via Skype and GizmoProject has helped bring cost of talking minutes to zero, and services like SightSpeed allow FREE video calling on a one on one basis, the real benefit to people comes from the services that have models that feature a pay component. All of the services mentioned above do, and so do the services outlined in this spot on the money post by pal Luca that was a guest feature on SkypeJournal.
