We’re Married!!!!!

Words cannot express the feeling of last night when Dr. Helene Malabed became Dr. Helene Malabed-Abramson, and Mrs. Abramson.

I’ll have photos and some video up later in the day, but here are a few tidbits.

We were serenaded by over 35 guests on the motorcoach ride to Montpeyroux to a song penned by our dear friends Ray and Kim McKewon.

Driving to the vineyard and they’re gonna get married 2x.

Roussanne marsanne syrah, are so varied

Goin to the grapevines of love.

Driving to the vineyard and they’re gonna get married 2x

Gee we really love you and you’re gonna get married.

Goin to the grape vines of love.

We had over 50 people in attendance.

We were married in a vineyard that produces World Class wine called Les Cocalieres by Domain d’Aupilhac.

Countries represented included Denmark, the UK, Spain, Italy, Cuba, Canada, the USA and France.

The Mayor of Montpeyroux, Claude Carceler officiated.

My best man was winery owner Sylvain Fadat and Helene’s Maid of Honor was his wife, Desiree Fadat.

The marriage was witnessed by Mark Williamson, owner and proprietor of the MOST FAMOUS WINE BAR in the world, Willi’s Wine Bar in Paris and Sacramento attorney Jeffrey Harris.

The ring bearer was three year old Marlena Fadat, while the two two year old flower girls (born two days apart to boot) were Manon Fadat and Anika Craig.

Helene and I surprised the crowd when we arrived by helicopter after everyone had been transported by motor coach and gathered at the vineyard for the ceremony and dinner following an amazing reception in the the Domaine D’Aupilhac winery.

Helene and I were interviewed by MidiLibre, Le Parisian and the local wine media. There were over a dozen members of the press in attendance as this was NEWS.

My groomsmen and I all wore matching Tommy Bahama shirts.

Contrary to rumor, Helene and I DID NOT say I do via our Blackberry’s or use a VOIP connection, though as AT&T’s Product Manager Chris Wood commented, cell reception in the vineyard was a full five bars.
