I’m not one to spread rumors and tend to take a more pragmatic approach, so I don’t think that AT&T is shutting off CallVantage any more than they are getting out of the dial up business. My guess is this is a something to this, but the way the story came out sure doesn’t sound like AT&T’s usual style.
Of course it could be true in part, but ever since they outsourced PR to an agency completely, and don’t want phone calls, preferring to work by email, so it’s been very hard to really get any straight scoop.
