It’s The Apps In Voice That Matter

Network World’s Brad Reed has a very good summary of the importance of applications with Voice, that was a topic of discussion this past week. That’s something I’ve been saying for many years now here in VoIPWatch.

The story focuses on the commentary by Iperia’s Dave Jodoin and client Thomas “Mr. Mashup” Howe.

I found the story via James Gaskin’s blog post. It was the spark that led me over to Network World. With Thomas’ perspective on APIs and Mashups as a guide, I’m really believing that less can be more with devices not having to really carry the load, but simply be the end point to so much more information, features and services that can reside elsewhere but be delivered to where I am at the time.
