Packet 8 has rolled out a new service call MobileTalk.
While I’ve yet to try it out, it sort of looks like a cross between TalkPlus and Jajah and is designed to move more traffic over the Packet8 network by routing the call to them. Think of the calling card model made easy.
This is a good way to keep their customers on their network, and sort of the inverse of T-Mobile’s UMA play.
