At each turn I am sensing a more “friendly” approach from Verizon Wireless.
It started when I was able to return my Blackberry Storm much later than their 30 day return window. They ended up refunding me $120. Then it continued when a Customer Service Rep over the phone pointed out my plan was “too expensive” and he lowered it, plus found some other things that could be removed. Net savings of about $30 a month.
Now I read over at GigaOm how their developer program has taken on a more “open” approach. While they still have a tinge of “command and control” it seems that Verizon Wireless is doing all they can to not appear to be like some of their competition.
Maybe, they are hearing us all now.
For me, I like what I’m hearing.
I Love the fact that I now get free Boingo Wi-Fi Since I have Verizon FIOS.
