One of the most fun events of the year in San Diego for wine lovers is the annual Family Winemakers Tasting at Del Mar Fairgrounds.
This year the event is on Sunday afternoon, March 14 and the event always sells out quick so get your tickets early. What makes this event so great? For starters the winemakers. They just know how to treat everyone like “family” at this event. Secondly, these are the more independent producers, so while some pour it all out with fancy booths and all the trimmings, others just show up and pour wine.
