I woke up earlier than planned and read this article in Bloomberg how work phones are making a comeback.
While many of the points support why the second device is having a reentry moment of sorts, the reality is employers need to own the device or at least the data on the device, and with the juggernaut of people being hired and fired, being remote, the idea of an exit interview being done in person. Even though MDM-mobile device management-has improved, the reality is workers are being given money to support their technology and having a second device just for work removes the hassle of having to eventually “divide” it all up when they leave, or are asked to leave.
