It seems the lack of parental controls in Skype with their Skype Me mode may have led to a flashing of sorts in the UK.
All of this could be avoided with a two stage warning system for SkypeMe that reminds new users, and even old hands, that Skype Me makes their ID available to anyone using Skype and the perils associated with it.
