You Can Still Skype on Airplanes

Even though the Chicago Tribune says cellular phones and VoIP won’t be allowed on the Aircell network on American Airlines, and singled out Skype, have no fear. Skype Instant Messaging will still be allowed. It’s just the voice traffic that will be “filtered” or “blocked.”
