It looks like at least two companies I’m rather fond of, TruPhone and BridgePort Networks have gotten some mighty big-time receptivity. Voxilla reports that the two were selected by the World Economic Forum to participate in the Davos annual confab of true leaders. Congrats!
Just read Om. The key point to me here is how services are evolving and getting better. We’re also seeing mashups of web services with voice being added. Given what I’m seeing, 2007 will be a banner year.

Just crossing the wire is the news out of NokiaWorld that the N80-1 Internet Edition will have Gizmo installed. My experience with it has been nothing less than spectacular. Fully integrated VoIP on a very high quality mobile phone is a dream come true.
It sure looks and reads like OfCom, the UK’s version of the FCC is going to be taking some steps to regulate VoIP and VoIP like services.
