A new company from the UK called BON.net has lauched Babble, a VoIP play that looks like a cross between SipPhone and Skype and even a little FWD (Free World DialUp).

Ringing Up Via WiFi in Canada

Bee Telecom out of Montreal wants to create a phone booth out of every hotspot according to a News.com report. The idea isn’t that far fetched as that’s similar to what SBC wants to do via FreedomLink as a cellular alternative.
