Talqer is trying their best to stay ahead of Google, even if Google doesn’t share every detail to folks in the press. Talqer is doing their part to be better than Google Talk.
Skype will be easier to use and less tethered with the roll out of Motorola Talk & Tunes Wireless Internet Calling Kit. It works via Bluetooth or a USB adapter to do the translation over to BlueTooth. No word though if it works on a Mac.
The Mac Observer has Apple entering into the VoIP arena with the iPhone. It would be very smart for Apple to jump into VoIP. If any company can take the concept of Fixed Mobile Convergence and tie it to Mobile VoIP on a consumer level, it’s Apple.
