Hello from COLD and CHILLY MiamiYou read right. Cold and Chilly. It's only 46 degrees, and I'm staying INSIDE. The Marathon is running outdoors, but before the race began you could feel the chill in the air. Today's top story has to be the winter storm that is wrecking havoc all along the east coast, messing up transportation this weekend and potentially impacting travelers to this week's IT Expo in Fort Lauderdale….You've heard of rain outs in baseball and games getting called because of rain. Well here's one in hockey. The Islanders and Flyers game in Brooklyn was cancelled, DUE TO SNOW.

Ooops . I did it again. I proved YOU CAN make phone calls on Wi-Fi equipped airliners.

Have a view on the news today? Please let me know what you think….Andy Abramson

How Facebook's Plan To Give The World Free Mobile Internet Went So Wrong

On a Tuesday afternoon in May 2010, a Facebook program manager named Sid Murlidhar published a blog post announcing "another way for people to access Facebook anytime, anywhere." It was called 0.Facebook, literally a URL you could type into your mobile phone's browser that called up a stripped-down, quick-loading, text-only version of Facebook – accessible only as long as you were using a participating mobile operator.
