Om took some time, likely smoked a few Dunhills, found a good spot to sit and reflect and cranked out a wonderful piece about Silicon Valley and it’s next wave. He talks about Bio-Informatics, and a week ago got the lowdown on Verseon, a very hot, off the radar play that’s been quietly (well not … Read more
Hat Tip to Joi Ito for linking to the Connexion list. I’m sure Jeff Pulver will want to bookmark this even if Jet Blue’s not on it (yet). I’m already planning my next European trip and plan to fly one of the airlines that has this..Guess I have to sleep BEFORE the flight, not on … Read more
I’m sure the folks at Motorola will be thrilled to see their telephone adapter pictured in Ted’s story about how to hack the Vonage version of the Linksys Telephone Adapter. That said, I would be concerned if I’m Jeff Citron. Who knows what someone might do to them, as they are SIP based. Knowing Michael … Read more

Already available online at Costco.com, Amazon.com and the Packet8.net web site, Uniden has been able to leverage their relationship with Frys and Officemax to broaden distribution. One retailer that’s … Read more
Vonage executives like to live in their own world. They only talk about what’s important to them. They don’t reply to questions that may not be advantageous for them to answer and they hold off commenting until people may forget they asked the question. This has become more apparent ever since the 911 fiasco is … Read more
Mark Evans tipped me off to this story in the National Post. It’s an important and significant story for if it pans out the move changes the way people would work, with RIM’s messaging management at the core as it works on more platforms the same way, unlike Microsoft (Outlook, Pocket Outlook, Entourage) yet, integrates … Read more
Vodafone is the largest wireless company in the world. Jeff Pulver has made them his focus of attention about their plan to block VoIP access. I wrote about this back on July 15th and am thrilled to see Jeff echo and amplify my concerns. When streaming media was growing, Microsoft used to be concerned about … Read more
